Ben Vaughan

Ben grew up on an arable and potato farm to the north of Lincoln, spending many of his holidays working on the farm. He went on to study Agriculture with crop management at Harper Adams and as part of his course spent a year in industry with an agricultural trials company. After graduating Ben worked for Branston potatoes as a field walker and Agronomist, where he continued to build his in-depth knowledge of potatoes. He then began his career as an independent agronomist at Countrywide Farmers. Ben is BASIS, FACTS and BETA qualified.

Ben advises on all aspects of combinable cropping, potatoes, sugar beet and carrots. He also assists his clients in all aspects of the farming business, including cross compliance, nutrient management plans and environmental schemes. He has a very good understanding and knowledge of farming software and often carries out data input for his clients on their own software.

Ben has a young family which keeps him busy in his spare time. He is also a very keen cyclist, riding a couple of times a week with Velo Club Lincoln.
